Our Humble Beginning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Meyer\u2019s Clean Day household products were inspired by Mrs. Thelma A. Meyer, an Iowa homemaker and mother of nine. How\u2019d it all get started? One of her daughters was walking down a cleaning aisle, eyeing all the products and couldn\u2019t help but notice the abundance of conventional ingredients and sterile smells. Right then and there, she had a brilliant idea: “Let’s make cleaners that smell nice, like a garden, but still work like the dickens on a daily dirt and grime.\u201d It\u2019s no surprise that she named the product line after her very practical mom and rooted it in the common sense values she passed along to her kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Thelma A. Meyer is a real person with a real passion for keeping things tidy. She\u2019s the inspiration behind Mrs. Meyer\u2019s Clean Day\u2014household cleaners that work like the dickens but smell nice. Thelma, an avid gardener, wouldn\u2019t have it any other way. With scents inspired by a Midwestern backyard garden and products chock-full of thoughtfully chosen ingredients, we\u2019re continuously channeling Thelma\u2019s passion for the environment. A mother of nine, she\u2019s no-nonsense, with a sensible approach to living a healthy and balanced life. Ask Thelma and she\u2019ll gladly tell you that cleaning is something that just has to get done, so we might as well make it a little more delightful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
